Relatively large poti knob, for a 6mm axle. Loose fit, held in place by an M3 screw.

Required parts:
- M3 nut
- M3 screw (6-8mm length)

 

The knob has a max diameter of 30mm (at the base). It's slightly tapered, but not a lot.

It fits on a 6mm axle very loosely. It's designed for a poti with a plastic axle as seen here, but should work with other potis as well as well:

To hold the knob in place, use an M3 screw (6mm length works perfectly for me, try 8mm if the knob is slipping).

Build instructions:

  1. Print it
  2. Insert a regular M3 nut in the rectangular hole at the bottom
  3. Insert screw until it mates with the nut (but don't tighten it yet)
  4. Place on axle (knob should turn freely)
  5. Tighten screw once knob is in desired position
