**********

This case is to protect the key fob from scratches by other objects and damage from being dropped.  It keeps the button areas open and comes in 2 versions: one labeled for Key Fob 1 and one for Key Fob 2.

NOTE: if you are interested in the carabiner shown above, click here.

Features:

  1. Protects your key fob from damage - keeps it looking like new.
  2. Opens like a clam shell to accept the key fob.
  3. Secured by a small clip that snaps in place.
  4. Keeps all buttons accessible.
  5. Versions labeled “1” and “2” provided for the key fobs labeled as such.
  6. Quick print - but don't forget the clip!

NOTE: you will need to remove the case for access to the physical door key (which we never use).

Printing Recommendations:

  1. Print using PETG or ABS/ASA for durability of everyday use.  Do not use PLA - it will crack on the first drop.
  2. Print using 0.2mm layer and 0.4mm nozzle.
  3. Use the provided .3mf file for custom support and seam placement.
  4. For best results use “organic” or “tree” supports if available on your slicer, as shown in the pic below for reference.
  5. Use “Align” seams to keep the seams at the edges of the clam shell for best cosmetic results.
  6. Use 3-4mm brim to help ensure good bed adhesion.

Post Processing:

  1. Some minor bonding at the seams is expected.
  2. Use an Xacto blade to gently break the minor bonds.
