Modular Dust Collection Distributor with integrated blast gates

Modular Dust Collection Distributor with each module containing a blast gate for distribution control:

Fully designed from scratch using OpenSCAD.

Parts:

  • Housing: The main housing holding the valve. You connect multiple to each other
  • Valve: For controlling vacuum distribution
  • Outlet: You will connect your vacuum here.
  • Inlet: Machine connection
  • Plate: Closes the last module

Outlet and Plate are required once. At least two Housing, Valve and Inlet should be used (otherwise there is no distribution). The modules are designed to be connected with threaded rods (3 to 4). The Inlets are fixed by a single screw and interchangeable.

Regarding Inlet and Outlet naming: (outlet|inlet)-ID1-ID2-BORDER-LEN-LIP

  • ID1: Inner diameter 1. The one at the plate
  • ID2: Inner diameter 2. The one away from the plate
  • BORDER: Border around the inner diameters. OD = ID + 2 * BORDER
  • LEN: Length of the connector
  • LIP: Size of inner lip

If you need any different configurations of Inlet/Outlet sizes, create a merge request or let me know.

The OpenSCAD main file is compatible with the Customizer. I used M5 threaded rods and screws in the default configuration.

Print settings shouldn't matter, the parts are designed to be printed without supports.
