Ultra Detail Dice Tower, 2 Tier tower with Moveable Dungeon Door

Printing:

I printed the tower with a 0.20 layer height and no supports are needed. You can add supports for the dungeon door overhang to ensure a easy fit and minimize the bridging needed. I printed it with supports (Organic) and it came out really well.

Features:

The tower stands just under 200mm tall, so it does take some time to print. I added windows along the stair case to showcase the inner stair well and the level of detail. The upper watch tower, I took features from Medieval times to really bring the tower together. I also added a dungeon for authenticity and to store your dice when not in use. It is a little tight so you may have to jiggle them out. The door does “lock” so when you open it, you may have to lift it up to get it over the bump stop on the floor.

Overall I am pleased how it came out and the kids love it! They use both towers (both Original and Remix) whenever they plan board games or just general play. Hope everyone else enjoys it too!

Major improvement is the printing of the stairs. I made a gradual slope under the stairs to help with the printing and lessons the Bridging needed to create them. I took inspiration from medieval towers to create the top lookout post. I designed the tower from Fusion360 with the inspiration from Phat3R's tower.

I added more windows along the side to look into the stairwell to see the dice tumble down. I decided to add a dungeon door at the bottom of the stairs, so that when you are not using the tower you can keep those pesky dice locked away. What's a castle without a dungeon!!

The catch tray and tower connect together for simple storage and to align them together while in use.
