Landrover LR075127 Seatbelt Clip

After not being able to find the part online, I eventually bit the bullet and tried to recreate it. The clips fit perfectly into the original, this can be mirrored to work on either side.

Yes the top of the clip doesnt look great, some day I might bother improving it but I cared more about functionality for this.

How I Designed This

Recreating an item from an image.

To get the main shape and dimensions, I took a photo of the clip, cut it out and filled it with black in gimp. I then turned that into an svg, imported that into tinker cad and turned it into a 3d object, from there I slowly cut out the clips (and my sanity) and added additional parts.
