Here is another entry in my Very Specific Object Series.

For some reason those wacky Swedes thought it was a good idea to design the Nordkisa nightstand – which is otherwise excellent in most respects – so that the drawer can be pushed out of both sides of it.

I mean, I know why. It would have cost 2 cents extra to include some manner of endstop so this wouldn't happen. But come on, this thing is statistically certain to be placed next to your bed with the back side up against the wall. So all pushing the drawer out the back serves to accomplish is:

A) Annoying you, and

B) Slowly embossing a dent in the wall behind it.

That's dumb. So here's the fix.

Print two of these and clip them to the crossbar behind the drawer as pictured. Hey presto: Now the drawer stops before getting shoved out the back. No screws, no glue, no sawdust, and no need to butcher your fashionably minimalist Nordic furniture.
