Quick connect / lock mechanisms are a blessing, if you travel a lot with your gaming setup (LAN parties).
This adapter plate allows to quickly swap between the original foot and a VESA mount so you don't need to unscrew the monitor every time you travel.
There is a reason why the quick lock mechanism comes with a metal plate on the original foot. I tried to find a solution made of PETG or ASA that snaps into place but the direction of load is not optimal. You can see there is a lot of load on the small flaps on the top side with very little support.
For me, this setup works great. I can also rotate the monitor and reposition it, but you may not jerk and twist it permanently. For mostly stationary usage this should be fine. Layer adhesion is the key to success of this project. Tolerances are tight so you might need to load the STEP-file into your CAD and push and pull some of the walls and holes.
Neither is this an easy print, nor an optimal solution, but for now and for me it works just fine.
You need 4x M4 nuts and you will use the original M4 screws that come with the monitor.
