Barrel Mounting System (designed to print at .12 layer height)
The Rev 2 EX BCAR system is designed with performance in mind. The new mounting system implements Extra Inch Technology®. The new barrel mount increases average velocity to negate the velocity drop the bearing scars produce. The new mount is designed to fit tighter to your barrel using tighter tolerances and more relief cuts under the collet. The multi-part design is to introduce color pop without the need for multicolor printing.
The increased tolerances call for .12 layer height print settings.
MK2 Mount
For those who refuse to let the Mk2 die. A threaded front end so you are able to use this with the second generation “ex” bearing centering and rifling devices. It is important all of these parts are printed at a .12 layer height. The threads do not like to print at larger layer heights. If you fail to print at the correct layer height your parts will not come as I designed.
The increased tolerances call for .12 layer height print settings.
All bearings install with flange on the right side with the threads facing upward.

Classic BCAR (designed to print at .2 layer height)
It is what it sounds like, just a simple BCAR. Improved iteration adapted to work with the new mount. Classic style has never looked so good.

Mutant BCAR (designed to print at .2 layer height)
I heard you guys like bearings, so I put more bearings in a row than ever seen in a printable BCAR. Limited information is known about this variation. The only thing that is clear, it's a monster.

Inlay details (optional) (print at the smallest possible layer height)
Must use lay flat in slicer. I cannot get this body to save in a flat orientation due to it being created with the form tool.
I included an STL of very small printable X, While it is a very small part I have successfully printed about as many as I have failed to print. This little piece is for fun. It is a small craft project for a small splash of color. Print this part at the highest detail possible. PLA REQUIRED.
Dip the inlay using a fork or spoon in a mug full of very hot water for a about 15 seconds, then quickly form it into the embossed section of a BCAR. The X inlay part is slightly oversized because it shrinks in the heating process.
Once cool and dry super glue this part into place.

!!!REQUESTING FEEDBACK!!!
I have uploaded 2 versions of Mutant variations. The different versions have different pin hole sizes. The tighter pin hole model "pins 32" is marked with an asterisk. If you can let me know how the pin holes treat you on both versions it will help determine which size pin hole to move forward with. I really appreciate your feedback, Thanks again.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
