Pipe plugs with threads for finial in gas pipe curtain rod - customizable

We often make curtain rods from 1/2 or 3/4 inch gas pipe. You can cut the pipe to length and it usually doesn't need a center support. The plugs can be pounded into the cut end of the pipe to allow you to screw on a finial.

There are two STL files

• plug_.75pipe_12mmx1.25_thread.stl is for a 3/4 pipe with a finial requiring 12mmx1.25 metric threads
• plug.50pipe.25x20SAE_thread.stl is for a 1/2 inch pipe with a finial requiring 1/4 by 20 SAE threads.

I've included the OpenScad design files if you want to remake them with a different thread size.
