This was a created to hold the stanley FatMax 25' tape measure on the side of my dewalt table saw there is a second variant which is screw mounted to a wall (I used that on the side of my router table). Basically it's a holder that can hook over a lip and with the slanted hook which will jam up against the side and the other has 2 drywall screw holes. The bottom is a grid to let dust through. Note this is a remake of the original which somehow got taken down since it had the FatMax logo embossed on the front.

Note the screw mount version uses ANSI #12 screw holes (a drywall screw fits just fine). Pretty much any small to medium wood screw is going to work. It's not an engine block it's a tape measure.

I have included the STEP files for those that want to change/modify the design

Print the model with the top I put the supports onto the bottom of the hook. You do not need supports onto the inside of the hook.

For the screw mount version you do not need supports, just print it with the grid side down. PLA has been just fine unless you beat up your tape holder (then PETG or polycarbonate?)
