I wanted a modern looking more heavy duty tie hanger. This is one of my more complicated models, and may need to be revisited. The slots are plenty thick enough for any tie to slide comfortably between them, and wide enough for my thickest boy (90mm). If for some reason a tie does not fit in the slit it can still be hanged in the negative space between the tie slits.
The printing for this was:
This makes it feel heavy and more sturdy. The ties do look nicer when evenly spaced and distributed. I don't think it would ever wobble enough or be off set so much that the hanger falls down, but there is some swing to the hook.
Let me know if you can think of tweaks or improvements, I think I will revisit this model later as I use it more in practice.
TBD: How the cats will take to it, and weather or not it is just a new cat toy…
NOTE: This was printed on an MK4 and was tight on the bed in terms of volume. I think if the last slot for the tie was nuked it would be small enough to print on most printers.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
