Prusa XL Heatbed Tile Mug Warmer

After seeing the idea on Twitter and others working on similar projects, I designed this coaster to hold a Prusa XL heatbed tile in order to keep mugs (and the liquid within) warm.

Tile will heat to roughly 175*F to keep your beverage warm.

The following items are needed:

• Prusa XL Heatbed Tile
• Molex Clickmate cable (1.5mm pitch) (optional if you solder directly to the board)
• USB-C PD Trigger Board (12v)
• USB-C PD3/QC charger (I used this one)
• USB-C cable rated for PD3/QC (I used this one)
• 4x M3-16mm screws

To assemble:

1. Cut the molex cable in half
2. Strip the two wires indicated in image 3 (these are wired to the bed heater)
3. Solder the molex cable to the pads on the PD trigger board (polarity doesn't matter)
4. Connect the molex cable to the heat tile
5. insert PD trigger board into housing and secure with tape or hot glue
6. Place tile on housing and secure with 4 M3 16mm screws
