Printing notes

I printed everything with a brim, just follow good practice for your printer.

30mm centering cones are recommended for 1kg spools, 40mm for 2.3kg spools. The distance stands for the thread length. I recommend printing them with the threads facing up, they shouldn't need support there but possibly a bit in the center where the bearing sits.

Hardware

I used:

Bolt: ISO 10642-M6 x 30 (x2)
Bolt: ISO 10642-M4 x 10 (x8)
Bolt: ISO 10642-M4 x 50 (x4)
Nut: ISO 10512-M6 (x2)
M6 thread insert (x2)
M4 thread insert (x12)
Bearing: 608zz (x2)

You could use different hardware but it might require some modification of hole depths and diameters for different thread inserts.

Assembly notes

Shaft: first thread the bolt through the bearing adapter, maybe use pliers if it takes a lot of effort. Press the bolt to bearing adapter with the bolt in the bearing, you can do this by threading on a nut with a washer. Lastly thead on the locking nut with the other plastic piece.
Insert the assembled shaft into the threaded cylinder and secure with the securement plate.
Thread on the triangle piece with M6 thread inserts. Depending on the bolts you used to fasten the securement plate, use some spacer (washers could work). Make sure it is tight so the locking nut also locks this in place.
