Ikea Skadis Top Shelf doublesided 36.5cm x 18cm / 20cm / 36.5cm

The Shelf has a depth of 36.5cm. There are 2 variants in the width, one with 18cm and one with 20cm. Therefore it fits on all 3 Skadis models.

!!! Attention: You need a big printbed to print it! 36.5cm x 36.5cm/20cm/18cm !!!

For the 76cm Skadis board you take 2x 18cm + 2x 20cm.

For the 56cm Skadis board you take 2x 18cm + 1x 20cm.

For the 36cm Skadis board you take 2x 18cm.

And if you have more than one Skadis board and use them in corner i designed a variant for it.

For ex.: 2 Skadis boards in an corner. 1x 76cm and 1x 56cm. If you want to completely fill out the Top you would need for the 76cm board 1x 18cm + 2x 20cm + 1x inner corner. For the 56cm board you would use the inner corner from the 76cm board + 1x 20cm + 1x 18cm.

Print instructions:

Filament: PLA

Supports: Not needed

Brim: I didn't use, but for better adhesion you could use)

Infill: 10%

Printbed: 60°C first layer, other 55°C

Cooling: 75-100%

Heat: 210°C first layer, other 205°C

Speed: 80-100mm/s

Maybe you add print bed glue or other adhesion on the printbed for the bigger parts. Otherwise the edges could go up…

I added print files for PLA (i printed it with PrimaCreator PrimaValue PLA Dark Grey) and as 3d printer i used the Anycubic Kobra 2 Max. But on print i switch it to “stable”. The layer height of the print ist 0.15mm.

My design is doublesided for desk mount and is 36.5cm in depth and 1x 18cm in width and 1x 20cm width.

As bonus an 36.5cm x 36.5cm Top Shelf for corners.

You can completely fill out the Top!
