This is a simple scoop (or dish-like) apparatus for getting salt out of the salt bin to spread. My salt is in a typical 5 gallon (US) bucket. Of course, all of my previous salt scoops either rusted or fell apart, hence a new one was needed.
It's 5.0mm (0.20") thick, so it should put up with some punishment. I used 15% infill. No supports needed.
The slight octagonal shape is so one of the sharp corners provides some lead-in for the scoop, as salt tends to clump and harden.
I used 2 different colors for mine, but that has no significance in the model.
Used PLA+, but even a basic PLA should do the job.
Could be used for any type of heavy-duty spreader, in the garden or otherwise.
STEP file is included for any modifications in your favorite CAD program.
Any questions let me know.
