Bosch Logixx 8 - Door Handle Fix

On my Bosch Logixx 8 washing machine the door handle was no longer functional and i had to open the door through the emergency opening all the time. When opening the door i found that a little part has broken off. This part is wrongly designed and is way too small for the load that is imposed on it. Therefore this printed part reinforces the section and allows the door to be used normally again.

Post-Printing

Step 1: Clear remains of broken piece on door handle

To fit the printed part, you have to have a smooth surface. Therefore remove all remains of the broken part on the door handle

Step 2: Drill through into the plastic of the door handle

Hold the printed part into the final position and drill through the two holes into the door handle. Use a drill which is a bit smaller than your screws

Step 3: Mount Printed part

Finally screw the printed part to the door handle.
