About two years ago I was given a Makita cordless drill as a gift. I searched everywhere for a possible mount designed for IKEA Skadis, but couldn't find a good one. In the end, I decided to use a simple emergency solution and adapted a model that was actually intended to be attached to the wall with screws.
I attached the necessary Skadis hooks in a position which made it possible to attach the mount flush with the edge of the IKEA Skadis Board. This is important for me because it means I can leave a belt hook attached to the cordless drill.
Even though this was really just a simple workaround, it works so well that I wanted to make it available here. It's not pretty, but it does its job.
And it also demonstrates how easy it is to put together whatever you need if you own a 3d printer!
The author remixed this model.
I fused the Makita Wall Mount of “GunSmoker” with the necessary hooks to make it compatible with Ikea Skadis pegboards.
