FrodRamp V4 - Pool Ramp for Animals

The 4th iteration of a pool ramp designed for Frods (frogs), lizards, and other small animals that get stuck in the pool. We're still testing it in various pools around the world, to find out if it has any further flaws. Check out the story here.

This version has several improvements over V1, after testing it in multiple pools.

• Replaced the ladder with a ramp
• Changed the angle of the ladder so non-aboreal animals can still get out.
• Increased the boyancy of the plarform to support a 230gm animal
• Upgraded the ladder to be extendable, to work with more pool heights
• Optional extender to support more pool variations
• Can connect multiple extenders together (like lego)
• Platform can't disconnect from the ramp anymore
• Added ribs to the pool ledge piece to increase grip
• Updated to be printable without supports

Printing Instructions:

• I've been increasing the solid layers on the bottom of thenplatform and extender to 6, and the walls to 4 to increase it's water resistance.
• The main file has 1 extender, but you can print as many as you need to match your pool. You'll likely only need 1 or 2 though.
• I've included the GCode files with my settings, printing on an MK3s with Filaform PLA+.
• The rest is pretty straight forward, it shouldn't need supports.
