Uses standard skate bearings in the spool center holder and the axle in the Polybox to suspend the spool. This makes for much less drag on the spool and helps to eliminate TPU stretch before it gets to the extruder.
To print, the filament spool center will need supports for the bearing recess to the plate, unless you have your bridging dialed in.
To use, remove the bearings and axle from the bottom of the Polybox, put one of the “stands” on each side.  Put the spool center into the filament spool, it has a notch on one side (on 1KG Ninjatek and new 1KG COEX spools). It helps to cut down the “axle” about one bearing width. Put the axle through the bearings and then a bearing on each (out) side and lower down into the recesses in the stands. The stands will slightly bow out as the axle is a bit too wide for this application.  The bearing on each side helps to ensure the spool doesn't slide onto the stands and increase friction.  If the spool adapter is a bit loose,  put a piece of tape across it and the spool.
Feed the filament through the Polybox. I have printed NinjaTek Edge, Coex 60A and 30D soft filaments with this method with better success than without it.
Currently it is in use with a Polybox on top of an enclosure with the filament exiting a hole drilled in the bottom (8-10mm is fine) .

There are 3 spool adapters. MEASURE YOUR SPOOL BEFORE PRINTING

One for Ninjatek 1KG spools. I have used these on Chinchilla, Edge and Cheetah. It is designed at 51mm through the spool center, 85.5 mm on the big end and 73mm total height.

One for COEX 1KG plastic spools with a notch on the big end.  It  is 88.5mm on the big end, 52.25 mm through the center and 73 mm total height.

One for Bambu reusable spools. It is designed as 54mm diameter through the spool and a total length of 73mm. Then there is a piece that goes on the outside of the opposite end that holds the spool adapter in place. Print those out of a firmer TPU like Cheetah.
