This is the first design I made in my single extruder - dual color series. My final design is out right now and takes this principle to a whole new level: Single Extruder - TRIPLE Color - Sleepy Cat!
And now back to the cow
This is a model I designed as a proof of concept of splitting a model into two parts that can be printed separately and combined in a way that it appears to be a fully dual color print.
This is one of my older designs but since it was quite popular I decided to upload it to printables as well. There are two models included, one with eyelets since I used it as a Christmas decoration, and one with a clean back. It should also work with an eyelet on the black part only.
Important: The model has some thin walls which slicers might struggle with, you get the best result with Arachne and Detect thin walls turned off.
Happy printing, and if you like my models you can follow me for more awesomeness :)

The author remixed this model.
I have split this fabulous scan into two parts that can both be printed without support and slide onto each other to crate a dual color model.
