Bambu Labs A1 Grommet

Replacement grommet for Bambu Labs A1 for those who wish to replace the heatbed cable.  There are 2 models one is split in half to facilitate easier replacement of wires.  The other is solid to slip your wiring through.  On the split model use 2mm pins in the provided holes to hold the sections together.  Use heat shrink on the end to hold the unit together and electrical tape on the rear if desired. 

Print with supports as shown in the photos for best results.  The model is very precise so if your printer is slightly off you may need to scale it slightly to allow for proper fit.

I used 13 amp silicone test lead wire and preserved the original control wires.  I covered both sets in “snakeskin” braided fire retardant braid.  The end of the model is slightly modified to allow the heat shrink to hold better and not slip off.  I have not tried printing this in TPU but it should print fine, I used black PLA for mine.
