Post a make if you make one! :)

Board in use($4 USD shipped roughly): AliExpress search for 12V PWM thermal controller

There are two .5mm friction 'ribs' that the board pushes in against to keep in place.

The lid presses in to place.

I'm using an old 12V output wall wart to power it with a 5.5mm connector.

Socket for the box($6 for 10 - or maybe one of your maker buddies has one): AliExpress search - you can also just solder your adapter wire to the board to avoid using a jack and plug.

I didn't mess with the settings of the module as it's perfect with default settings for what I am looking for it to do and that is spin up around 85F.

Runs at 20% when powered and at/below 30C/86F.
Speed increases from 20% at 30C/86F to 100% at 35C/95F linearly.

1/16/23 - Update - added video for adding a manual override switch to lock fan at 20% for printing materials like ABS or ASA where you need less cooling and a warmer environment.
