I needed a microphone stand mounted inline switch for a microphone. I built it into a Neutrik NA extruded aluminum enclosure (it's also available printable). This print surrounds the outside of the aluminum housing. The lower half takes a bit of effort to snap in. 4x 4-40 screws go through the Neutrik D-Series connectors, through the print, into the extruded aluminum. I included 8 holes in the print, but only two per side are required.
There are spots for up to 10x 10mm x 1.75mm magnets if you want it extra secure. You could also just wrap some gaff tape around it. :)
