Great bed scraper that makes a super fun fidget toy to help you work out the anxiousness of your next print finishing! The blade bolts are now threaded, so when the blade runs out you just print a new blade, unscrew the threads and pop the new blade in! You just need 2 small bolts, included a file with 2, and a file with a single bolt if re-print or replacement is needed. Please note, because I reversed the parts, the threads are REVERSE THREADED.
The author remixed this model.
I used the bolts and threads, from Daniel Josvais' Circle Game Gravity Knife, and combined them with Godard Scientifics' Bed Scraper - Gravity Knife (Remix). I opened up the bottom slots a bit using negative modifies in BL Studio, as the new bolts are just slightly larger than Godards. I also mirrored all the parts, making the scraper orientated for right hand users. In doing this, it makes the threads REVERSE THREADED. Keep this in mind. I would also recommend screwing the bolts into the scraper once before inserting it into the carrier, as they will go in much easier after the first time. Now the blades are replaceable, and it's much more comfortable to use in the right hand, as the blade is orientated correctly. I love this little scraper, and it makes a super fun functional fidget toy while I'm sitting at my desk!
