Rugged Box for the Logitech MX Master 3 mouse

Update 5/24: You need 6 screws @ M3x30 for the hinges and latches.

As described in some makes, the fit of the two halves of the case is quite snug. Some prnters seem to be over-extruding when standard profiles are used - that's when the fit can be too tight.

Print with plenty perimeters (maybe 5) and only 5% infill (saves a lot of time here).

It is still very sturdy.

If you want to play with the original OpenSCAD file for the box here are the parameters: Interior dimensions are 148 x 118mm, interior height 30mm (bottom) and 28mm (lid), corner radius 15mm, 2 hinges and 2 latches → et voilà, the hard case fits with slight interference so you can combine the models in a slicer of your choice.

I habe Peterson Daughtry's hard case für die Logi MX Master 3 mit der Rugged Box von Rainer Backes kombiniert. Herausgekommen ist ein ultra-robustes Mousecase. 

Ich schlage vor, dieses Modell mit 4 oder 5 Perimetern zu drucken, dafür mit wenig (5%) Infill. Das ergibt ein stabiles Case und eine recht geringe Druckzeit.

Es werden 6 Schrauben M3x30 für Scharnier und Verschluss benötigt.

Die Passung zwischen den zwei Hälften ist relativ stramm. Wenn euer Drucker im Standardprofil etwas über-extrudiert, dann kann es zu Problemen mit der Passung kommen.

I combined Peterson Daughtry's hard case with the Rugged Box by Rainer Backes.
This is now an ultra-rugged mouse case.

I left the holes for the magnets in place, but they are not needed. Added a thin piece of adhesive felt to the bottom part. Now it is a tight fit - no rattles.
