As a coffee junkie I was in need of a appropriate sign for my office to keep those pesky colleague out on monday mornings. (Spoiler: It doesn't work, but still it is funny).
I liked SpaceCadet2's sign, but I wanted it with a border. I failed to edit the provided stl, so I made the frame seperate and merged both within the slicer.
The raw 3mf file contains the original sign an my additional frame. To print it on my MK4 I changed the scale a bit, merged both parts, and lowered the model so that there are only 4 layer as the baseplate to reduce print time.
printed in black/white with some no-name PLA
MK4 InputShaper Profile in about 1h37m
layer height 0,3 mm
color change at 1.50 mm // Layer 5 (in the sunken version with only 4 layers as baseplate)
There is a disk shape (10x10x2.5 mm) placed at the bottom right corner of the prepared version. It is my curret fix for the M600 bug in prusaslicer 2.7.1 where the nozzle returns to the last position before the color change and then leaves a filament glob or even makes a dent into the previous printed layers.
It works as a sacrificial shape (Not my idea though, found it somewhere in the github discussion to this problem). But as of the newest version of prusasclicer (PrusaSlicer 2.7.2-alpha2) it should be fixed.
Happy printing and happy coffee!
