All files should be oriented in the way they were intended to be printed at the time they were designed.

The tolerance between the mast and the hole is 0.15mm. If you struggle getting it to fit, I recommend changing the scale of the boat rather than the mast so you don't run into problems with the sail fitting in the mast. When adjusting the scale, I'd only worry about adjusting the width and length of the boat. This means not using uniform scaling.

Print with 0% infill for maximum buoyancy.
