Mounts to the top storage cubby using the existing two trim srews. Print the base plate and the posts separate and a simple drywall screw connects everything. I added superglue to the post as torsion on the post caused it to loosen off of the screw. I'm starting with PLA Pro and going to see how it holds up as it warms up, maybe print in PETG later.
This is just the base plate with three mounting posts/balls. Others have made great ram mount attachments to connect to it.
April'24 update: As expected PLA Pro did not hold up to even spring temperatures. I've reprinted in PETG and we'll see how that goes.
January'25 update: .stl file added per request. The base and post are holding up well into the New England cold weather. The normal ram ball to small magmount ball broke in the cold. I'm increasing the infill to 90% and printing in ASA to see if it helps.
