The EA1122 solder fume extraction hose from Metcal uses 63 mm diameter Loc-Line joints and is very convenient when soldering. It's quite stiff when angled downwards during work and has good airflow. Unfortunately, it is a bit of a hassle to put away as it does not support itself that well when angled upwards and tends to fall down.

To fix this, it clicks nicely into and is held securely in this wall mount when not in use. The inside of the round clip matches the parabolic profile of the narrowest part of one of the Loc-Line joints.

The model consists of two parts: The clip and a stabilizing foot. This allows printing without using supports; the clip laying down and the stabilizer pointing up. They press fit into each other and the whole assembly is screwed into a wall.

It uses a parametric FreeCAD model and all parameters, e.g. the distance to the wall and the recesses for the screw heads, can be tuned. The stabilizer might not be needed if the wall distance is kept to a minimum.

The model shown was printed on a Bambu X1C using ESD PETG filament using a 0.4 mm nozzle with adaptive layer height.
