This is a simple model to get access to the power of cheaper lithium batteries to convert second hand and old power tools to better and available batteries. The model is an universal lego-brick to build with. Kept generic to be able to adapt the need at hand.

With this brick as a platform I've built more stuff to use these batteries. USB-chargers and even a small lab power supply using ZK-4KX, otherwise using mostly reclaimed material such as a piece of an old lexan sign, some scrap masonite and an old lamp cord. This is a really handy tool for testing stuff whilst fault finding cars, boats and similar things. In this case I'm using Biltemas MultiX 18V li-ion batteries as my battery. Relatively cheap and no communication from tool to battery, quite good quality and performance. Over heat and discharge protection built in to battery. This makes it ideal to use as a power source for my projects.
