Hexagonal motif paint stand for Army Painter bottles which holds up to thirty bottles.
There are three designs:
(1) Solid walls throughout body.
(2) Body has 6mm wide side cutouts to reduce the amount of filament needed.
(3) Body had 9mm wide side cutouts and the internal shelf supports have been reduced from fully circumferential support to thee spurs.
Design (3) uses approximately 63g less PLA versus design (1).
I added a bottom plug, which can be glued into the base of the back row. This would allow one to use one of the hexes as a paint brush holder.
UPDATE: the bottom plug has be rescaled to fit better. It is slightly undersized to allow for wonky shrinkage of the hexes on the bottom of the stand. So there will be some visible gap.
If you use Turbo Dork paints, the bottles fit tightly. Scale up model ever so slightly and they should fit.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
