Design by monks living in solitude in high mountain alps to power their secret army of robospiders, this is the latest and greatest in stealth robot powerplants.
Designed to be mounted between the side plates of the Robospider, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6886, with the square axle engaging the centre gear. Axle centre hole is sized for an M3 or a short piece of filament, as is the pivot point in the ratchet arm.
Stl's will need to be manipulated so that they lay flat, Solidworks is out of phase with RepG. Solidworks 2010 files in zip for those that are interested.
Needs a rubber band attached to a suitable point on the chassis and hooked around the attachment point in the drum.
Drum is wound to tighten rubber band, with the ratchet preventing reverse motion.
Ratchet is flicked to disengage and the robospider is on it's way.
All your base are belong to Robospiders.
