Skadis Bror Adapter (No additional hardware needed)

This adapter makes it possible to mount the Skadis panel on the Bror shelf (both from IKEA).
It is a two piece part but requires no additional materials such as glue or screws.

The two parts fit together with a dovetail joint, allowing for some play to adapt perfectly to the shelf. Once mounted on the Bror shelf, the part can rotate slightly to adjust for skew in the shelf bars.

Parts information:

• BrorSkadisAdapter_Pin: This is the part that fixes to the Skadis panel.
• BrorSkadisAdapter_WingClip: This is the rear part to clip on the Bror shelf.
• BrorSkadisAdapter_MiddleClipOnly: This is the rear part that clips on the Bror shelf if a shelving unit is already mounted on that hole.

Printing instructions:

• Supports:
  The BrorSkadisAdapter_Pin can be printed on its side with the pin facing the bed, this part doesn't need any support.
  The BrorSkadisAdapter_WingClip  and the BrorSkadisAdapter_MiddleClipOnly are best printed with the dovetail joint on the bed and the clip facing up. This part only needs support under the dovetail joint.
   
• Material:
  The parts are best printed with petg as it is a bit more resistant to mechanical stress. Use your petg profile adapted to your filament.
   
• Layer height:
  A layer height of 0.1mm is adapted for this part.
   
• Perimeters and Infill:
  It is best to set perimeters to a minimum of 4 walls. Infill can be kept at 15%, default.

Assembly:

• Once the BrorSkadisAdapter_Pin and one of the two clips (BrorSkadisAdapter_Pin or BrorSkadisAdapter_MiddleClipOnly) are printed, assemble the parts with the dovetail joint. Orientation does not matter. Then clip 2 or 3 adapters per side to the Bror shelf. The pin that goes in the Skadis board must face outwards. The BrorSkadisAdapter_MiddleClipOnly is used if a shelving unit is already installed at the wanted height, it clips in quite easily. The BrorSkadisAdapter_WingClip mounts in a unused hole. It requires quite some force to put it in but it therefore holds well.
  
  Once the adapters are mounted on the Bror shelf, the Skadis panel can be installed. It will require some adjusting but should be possible without a lot of issues.
