Prusa MK3 & Bear Hot End cooling jig or test bench

This is a test bench / jig or the Prusa MK3 (R2 and Bear) variants. I wanted to test a bunch of fans and cooling shrouds. Taking apart the printer every time became rather tedious. With the help of https://www.thingiverse.com/pekcitron/about, who graciously designed the jig for the Bear extruder, I created the R2 jig and base platform to mount both variants to.

Simply print out an extra extruder and you can hook up the hotend test bench into your existing Einsy. This prevents you from having to disassemble the wiring harness for running benchmarks, etc.

Print instructions

Assemble the printer hot end per official instructions. Instead of the x-carriage assembly use the appropriate jig for your hotend and mount to the base. Done!
