This is the first part in my WIP series of 3D art for the inexpensive IKEA Sannahed frames.
This topographic model was captured by NASA's Dawn spacecraft in 2011. Originally I wanted a lunar surface, but this looks really great.
I printed it with 2 perimeters and lightning infill, but you can probably also do it in vase mode, which only takes 70 g of filament for the whole thing.
Make sure to print standing up. Otherwise there will be artifacts. If you orient it like this in your slicer, it can be printed on an Ender 3 bed.
Model provided by NASA. I've changed it so it fits in the frame. Check out their repo.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
