The stock Robot portafilter handle is chromed metal without much heft. This design pads it out a bit and makes it easier to hold. The top has a slight indention for your thumb. My original design for this was held together with tiny screws, but in this redesign I've used the Split/Add Snap Connector feature in Bambu Studio (derived from Prusaslicer). The fit around the perimeter of the handle is tight and doesn't allow any slippage. That said, the original handle appears fairly flat, but in fact it has some curvature. Matching that curvature wouldn't really add anything but greater complexity to the design. However the height I allow for the thickness of the handle does leave some open areas where crud could enter where the handle ends (see picture). In assembly I've put some silicone to encase the opening and added a couple dabs further down the handle for good measure.

I've built this using PETG with 0.2 mm layer height, 2 wall loops and 25% grid infill. It snaps together nicely and can come apart, but the integrity of the print may not survive without some of the snaps breaking off. Still much easier than tiny screws. Your milage may vary. I have two version… one with the text “Robot” sticking up 0.4 mm and another without any text. If people desire, I can make one with the text cut into the top so it's recessed. Because of the way the snap creation feature works, it's necessary to have different bottom models for both versions as you can't save and apply the snap locations in another model.

Edit:

I've had some of the snaps fail. I don't know if it was an issue with the filament or if the slicer generated snaps just lack robustness. In any case, I'm going to work on an additional version which will use small magnets and maybe also make a screw together version that uses threaded inserts.
