Printing: For added weight/balance, add a box-shaped ‘modifier’ with 100% infill in the slicer to cover just the base and the initial vertical offshoot of the arm.
Print on the side with slot-facing down
Post-processing: Remove the 4-tabs with a blade to allow the cord to fit in the slot.
I added pieces of cutoff ¼" threaded-rod that I put into the center of each nut to add extra weight/density – and then used a grinder to smoot it off. This is NOT necessary but I assumed couldn't hurt to add extra ballast.
For added assurance, I added a drop of superglue before pushing the nuts into the slots
The author remixed this model.
Replaced holes for stacked 5mm nuts with single-layer grid of 1/4" nuts (8 in all)
