Couch Cup Holder Phone Mount

2nd Feb 2024 Update - Updated to version 2, more compact and reduced the height of the front stopper to make accessing the bottom of the phone easier

This is a simple model to give me somewhere to rest my phone while watching TV, and still be able to see and use the phone. I am only new to 3D printing and this is my first attempt and my own design. I'm more than happy for people to tell me how it could be improved :-)

The cup holders on my couch have a removable plastic inner that can be flipped over for the option of deep or shallow cup holders. There is a small gap around this so I have gone with a friction fit between the inner and outer parts of the cup holder. There is then also a lip around the outside that I'm going over then using that to provide the support for the phone. I wanted to make sure I didn't lose the functionality of the cup holder.

I am probably going to look at making a future revision which includes a charging option as I have a USB port on the side of my couch.
