For best results use a 0.25 mm nozzle. I tried it with a 0.4 mm nozzle, but the quality wasn't what I wanted.
I decided to try a "poor man's" multiple extruder set up.
- Under Printer Setting, I selected 5 extruders, and checked single head printer. I also entered a custom G code in the "Tool Change" with M600
- Under Filament Setting, I increased the nozzle temperature to 240. This was to get a smoother print using a 0.25mm nozzle.
- Under Print Settings, I unchecked wipe tower
- Under Plater, I Split to Parts for the STL file and colored each part with the desired color.
- I sliced the file and printed it with the color changes, noting the order that the colors were printed (silver, red, black, white, and yellow)
The whole process wasn't as bad as I had though for not having a MMU setup on my Prusa Mk4.
