I wanted to reduce the weight on the top extrusion by moving the spool down, but there were no good options for guiding filament back up for use with a direct drive extruder. So I came up with this, a reverse bowden bracket! PTFE tube is friction fit into the top of the bracket, and secured to the aluminum extrusion with some screws.

Requires 2 M5x8 screws, 2 M5 T-slot nuts, and whatever length of PTFE bowden tube suits your need.

Might require some cleanup with a drill.

Filament used: Elegoo PLA Clear

Printer settings: 205 degrees, 0.2mm layer height, 100% infill
