Baratza Sette 270W Hook Cylinder

After the original plastic part failed (see photo of the gray ring), I needed a replacement. This part isn't an exact match, but does the job.

Steps:

• Print part, using supports as required and 100% infill. I used PETG.
• Use soldering iron to remove screw insert from failed part. I used CNC Kitchen's TS100 insert adapter for this.
• Use soldering iron to place insert into replacement part.
• Disassemble grinder, per instructions
• Remove portafilter hook from broken cylinder
• Insert new cylinder into assembly, and place hook into new cylinder.**
• Tighten set screw on cylinder
• Re-assemble grinder, per instructions

** - This step was somewhat difficult, and I wasn't able to keep the spring that was supposed to go under this part. The spring isn't super necessary, however.

Replaces item #66, part #S549, “Hook Cylinder" from Baratza Sette 270W (and perhaps also Sette 270, Sette 270Wi, and Sette 30).
