Yes, yet more modular mashup malarkey for the magnificent model, the Honeycomb Storage Wall by RostaP.

There are various pen and pencil holders for the Honeycomb Wall. I've seen ones that'll hold one pen, or maybe like six pens. But what if you have a whole bunch of pens? A lot of pens. Like, 48 pens? What if you collect pens, like some kind of pen collecting pen collector?

So I made this.

This heckin' hexagonal holder holds a heap of 'em. 16, 24, 32, or even 48. It comes in three cell sizes: small, medium, and large.

The Small Variant Has 12mm Cells and Fits:

  • Most wooden pencils
  • Staedtler mechanical pencils, both with and without grip
  • The classic Bic style stick pens
  • The classic Bic style mechanical pencils
  • The Uni Kuru Toga Roulette and its variants
  • Most 2mm editor's grease pencils
  • The Parker Jotter
  • The Sheaffer Sentinel
  • The Pilot Parallel

The Medium Variant Has 17.5mm Cells and Fits:

  • Regular size Sharpie markers, including the retractable ones
  • Most Lamy pens and their clones
  • Most fountain pens, specifically…
  • The Sheffer Targa
  • The Sheaffer School Pen
  • The Sheaffer Pop, Calligraphy Pens, and Variants
  • The Sheaffer 300 and 100
  • The Pilot Vanishing Point
  • The Parker Model 51
  • The Platinum Curidas (just barely)
  • The Pilot G2 and its myriad clones
  • Most highlighters

The Large Variant has 20mm Cells and Fits:

In each cell size, three different widths with ever increasing numbers of cells are available depending on how… dedicated… you are to your pen collection.

The bottoms of each cell are tapered to help hold your pens straight regardless of variations in their diameter, and each row has “stadium seating” with each cell sitting progressively higher than the next, hopefully preventing pens in the rear rows from getting buried by those in front.

I guess you could also use this to hold anything else roughly stylus shaped. I mean, if you really wanted to. If you're some kind of non-pen-collecting deviant or something. Small screwdrivers. Socket wrench extensions. Paintbrushes. Tweezers. Chopsticks? I don't know. Whatever floats your boat, weirdo.

This slots into the “insert, empty” provided with the Honeycomb Storage Wall files. You will want to use supports to ensure that the upper row of hex inserts prints correctly.
