For my setup, the mounting holes for the DJI O3 AirUnit at the back of the Rotoroma Buddy frame were too far to the back, so that my camera cable was not long enough.

I am flying the Rotoroma Buddy 5" Deadcat, but my model should work with any Rotoroma Buddy frame. With slight modification of the variables, my model should be easily adaptable for other frames as well.

The mount comes in two parts that rotate around the standoffs and enclose the AirUnit. That way, you can easily remove the AirUnit without the need to remove screws. To ensure that the parts don't unfold mid-flight, there are locking-pins at the bottom that go through the holes at the bottom of the frame.

The mount has cutouts for the antenna connector plate. You can easily remove the antenna connectors without the need to remove the AirUnit from the mount.

Customizability

The model is designed in OpenSCAD with maintainability and customizability in mind. Every part is a separate module and there exists a variable for every dimension. If you need help modifying my model, leave me a message or write a comment.

Depending on your specific setup, you may want to slightly modify these variables:

air_unit_length, air_unit_width, air_unit_height: If you are having difficulties with clearances or the general fit of the AirUnit inside the mount, you may want to de-/increase these values.

lock_y_offset: You have to (slightly) press the two parts together in order to be able to lock the pins into place. If the fit is too tight for you, you might want to slightly increase this value.

Printing

I suggest printing the mount upside down in TPU or anything slightly flexible. You will probably need some support.
