Ender Spool Holder Upgrade

Improve your stock Creality Ender series spool holder with this three-piece kit that enables your filament spool to roll smoother and reduces the stress on the extruder. MUST use your stock locking ring in order to lock the spool tube in place. The kit includes a new style spool tube that is threaded on one end, allowing the user to slide on a buffer/spacer that fits most 1KG spools. No need for bearings.  I've used this for over two years now and have had no issues. Hope this helps a few people out.

• Highly recommend printing the spool tube laying down (horizontal) so as to take advantage of the layer strength. Printing the tube vertically and using it with a full spool of filament could eventually cause a stress fracture in the tube and will break off.
• Supports should be used for the snap ring end of the tube and around the tube for at least the first 5 to 10mm to help bed adhesion and reduce print failures.
• I've include the ZIP file and both STL and 3MF versions. 
   

You MUST use the stock lock ring (see black piece in photo) that came with your Ender printer to secure the tube to the metal bracket. Not sure if this will work for other printers with similar stock bracket holder setup.
