Air Vent Hook

This remix is slightly different than the original.  The dimensions aren't exactly the same but they're pretty close.

Printing

• Print on it's side for proper strength.
• Enable supports.  I use organic.
• Use PETG or ASA.  The slate grey in the photo is PETG-CF.  Do not use PLA.
• 4 perimeters
• 15% gyroid infill

• I've added a “longer” version, per request, to support wider things.  The hook is about 13mm (½") longer.  This is the slate grey colored one in the photos.

I've updated the model slightly and now have two versions.

• There's a “loose” version which is the same as the original.  The hook that slides into the air vent just has straight lines to it.  It can pretty easily slide left and right.  This is also useful if you like the look of this hook and just want to scale it to fit a different application.  The hook has a 14.5mm inside diameter so scale it appropriately to whatever dimension you might need.
• There's a new “tight” version which is my preferred one.  It fits snugly onto the vent and won't slide around at all.  This is the black one in the photos, seen with the sunglasses hook I also made.

I liked the original version, but didn't like the sharp edges of the model.  I remodeled this from scratch so I could round off all the edges and make the fit tighter so it doesn't slide around so much.  You can print this version without having to scale the model and the mesh was created with high refinement so the curves are cleaner.
