Introducing the YAPPM (Yet another Pi Pico Macropad). I know there's a bunch of other macropads involving various microcontrollers, but this one is mine.
It utilizes a Raspberry Pi Pico (of course), and a mechanical keyboard switch I had laying around.
I have it setup to act as a dedicated mute button. Using a Windows application called MicMute (free) which recognizes the keyboard shortcut that the Pico sends out. In the script I provide it's set to Right Shift + M but you can change that to whatever you want.
Total build price including the amount of filament used, pico, and switch plus some miscellaneous wire is $5.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
