Tailypo, tailypo, who's got my tailypo?!
From the Appalachian folk tale I bring you the Tailypo.

The Tailypo is usually described as being the size of a dog. Depending upon the native culture of the storyteller, the Tailypo is said to have either yellow or red eyes. The Tailypo also has pointed ears and a long tail. The creature is covered in black or dark brown fur and as it appears only during the night, it is difficult to see. The Tailypo usually only ever uses its sharp claws to attack, suggesting that the Tailypo is a powerful animal, and not a demon or spirit.
I hope that you enjoy printing him as much as I enjoyed bringing him to life.
I printed this model with black PETG but it should print well with any material. I recommend black or dark brown filament because this is the primary color of the tailypo. Paint his eyes yellow and his claws white for maximum effect. It requires some scaffold under the hands and under his face. The model includes a triangle piece to support the scaffold under his face. It snaps off easily after the print is complete.
I printed him on a Mk3s. You will need 210mm or more on the Y dimension to accomplish this print. Any printer with this capacity should be able to print him.
The author hasn't provided the model origin yet.
