This model attaches the Ring Spotlight Cam Battery HD Security Camera and Ring Super Solar Panel. The solar panel is mounted sideways. In order to do this, a bit of plastic has to be trimmed from the mount where it attaches to the solar panel.
By turning the solar panel sideways, it shields the camera from the elements, and makes the mount considerably more compact.
The idea behind this mount is that the conical posts will raise the panel off the tree and slightly dig into the bark to hold it fast. Paracord is wrapped around using the cleats. This leaves the tree undamaged and if it continue to grow, the paracord can be relieved when it gets too tight.
If you're wondering how to wrap the paracord around a large tree while standing on a ladder, the answer is to attach a large socket (or similar) to the cord and swing it around the tree. Just remember to grab it before it smacks you in the head. Worked great. No injuries.
For trees larger than 1.5 m circumference, 0.5 m diameter.
I printed this in PCTG, olive.
