This is the Doodie Desiccator Turdblow S. The purpose is to remove moisture from anything inside the bucket. I use it to dry the messes left by my cat after she has a diharreal dump-n-run. It is impossible to remove a wet poo from high-pile carpet, so it must be dried before removal (and eventual carpet cleaning). The device also doubles as a high-visibility obstacle, to prevent other household members from becoming a doodie-stepper.

The design uses a 120mm computer fan to pull air from the poop chamber into the silica gel box, after which it is allowed to return to the poop chamber. The silica gel container is retained with clips, for easy reloads (and convenient dry storage.)

Bucket & ducts can be printed from whatever, I use PLA. The silica gel container should be printed from PETG so that it can flex during assembly. and withstand some heat. The heat-resistance is needed so the container can be placed in a dehydrator to re-charge the enclosed silica gel.

Assemble the fan and fan ducts with computer case fan screws, and then apply CA to the bottom flange of the ducts. Center it on the top of the bucket and wait for it to cure.  The silica gel box lid fits very snug to the base, and isn't really intended to come apart once it's snapped together. The box retention clips work best when you slide the box under them, instead of ram-jamming the box vertically onto them.

My DDTS is using Wisesorb indicating silica gel, 2-4mm in diameter. The fan is an old Noctua P12? with standard 120mm fan hole spacing (105mm center-to-center, 4.3mm dia).
