I needed a simple magazine storage container to house my extra, loaded LCP2 380 ACP magazines. I built 2 versions, a single and a double holder to house both the standard 6 round magazine as well as support for the extended 7 round magazine.
These properly store the magazines and protect them from damage, dirt, and dust. I can toss these in a bag, glove box, center console, pocket, etc without worrying about getting debris / lint lodged in the magazine. The magazines remain in the holder by friction and are easily pulled out for use.
The double holder will hold 2 six round magazines or 1 six and 1 seven round magazine, but not 2 seven round mags because of overlap with the extended base.
These are best printed in PETG, however I printed a version in matte PLA that turned out pretty nice too (see pictures).
I printed these on a Bambu Lab's P1S using standard settings for .20mm and printed both on the same textured PEI plate using by object print sequence to prevent stringing on the PETG. I arranged the prints with bottoms on build plate and this way they require no brims or supports.
They printed in under 1.5 hours and turned out pretty clean. The fit is snug but after a couple uses they fit is perfect. The PETG is a little more slippery than the matte PLA and will probably hold up better stored in the glovebox.
